Policies:
To reserve a baby, a non-refundable deposit is required.
The balance of the purchase price is to be paid in full when the bird is picked up. Balances paid through Paypal or credit card are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Monies paid for services rendered (such as dna sexing) are not refundable.
Yes, we do ship! We use Continental Airlines exclusively as their service is excellent and there are no weather restrictions. Cost is $120 which includes the custom, reusable carrier. Birds and all associated shipping costs must be paid for in full before birds are shipped.
All of our weaned birds come with a written health guarantee provided at the time of sale.
Requests for a specific gender must be made at the time the deposit is put down for the bird. DNA gender testing is available for $30 at customer's expense.
We offer free lifetime behavioral advice on all the weaned birds we sell. If you are having problems with a parrot that you did not purchase from us, we do offer behavioral consulting at an hourly rate. Email us for details.
Our facilities are closed to the public. Allowing customers to tour our facility would greatly disturb our breeders and puts our little ones at risk for catching viruses, bacterial infections and diseases. The security, health and well being of our birds is top priority. You will find the majority of quality breeders have similar policies. When a customer places a deposit on one of our babies, we keep in touch by sending weekly updates and great pictures!
We request that customers pick up their birds or schedule shipping arrangements within seven days after we notify you that your bird is weaned. If you are unable to pick up your bird during this time (for example you are going on vacation), we can hold your bird a little longer for $10.00 per day. If a customer has not picked up their bird after 7 days and no boarding arrangements have been made with us, we reserve the right to sell the bird to another customer. Any proceeds paid on the bird will be kept by Almost Angels Aviary to offset boarding and advertising costs.
